This is Reika, a Pokémon original character that I have had for several years. This is my entry for 's Pokémon OC Contest.

I have an entire webpage dedicated to Reika which can be found at [link] . However, I'll provide a little bit of basic info here since my webpage is severely TL;DR-worthy.

It's a pretty typical story, you see; young maiden's brother is brainwashed by an evil organization, young maiden sets forth to find him whilst discovering adventure and romance all at the same time. But of course, this young maiden is kind of stupid and hot-blooded, and she's also an amazing Pokémon trainer. Despite being a genius at Pokémon, however, she's still pretty dumb with everything else. Much like a certain straw-hatted shonen protagonist, Reika has a firm passion for fighting for her friends. However, Reika's girlish moe factor which separates her from such protagonists is unavoidable. Her very first Pokémon was Squirtle, and due to growing up on an island, her favorite type of Pokémon is Water-type. For this reason, and due to the fact that he wishes to teach her about elegance (Reika's antonym), Hoenn's fabulous champion Wallace has taken Reika in as a protege. After catching all sorts of different Pokémon, though, Reika has learned to love every type of Pokémon all the same.
